Mel Harder Park

Located on the east side of Chardon on South Hambden Street, Mel Harder Park is a 12-acre park that was dedicated to former Cleveland Indians pitcher, Mel Harder. The park currently provides baseball fields, playground, gazebo, picnic tables, and grills.
The park, which is available for public use, is open during daylight hours from spring through fall.
